YMCA Community Programs

As information becomes available, we will list a full range of community programs and contact information.


YMCA Before & After school Care Update

We will be sending letters to families of children currently registered in our Before and After School program to advise them of the new options for care beginning this Fall.  

For next Fall, Before & After School programming will be offered at:

  • King George School

  • John Chisholm School, which enables us to provide care for children that attend Lindale, Palliser and St. Michael Schools

  • We will also be able to offer care to St. Margaret School children with transportation provided by their Holy Trinity busing

Program fees will be $135/month for morning only care, $185 a month for afternoon care and $250/month for Before and After School care.

We are also working on plans to accommodate non-school days and breaks off of school at the new John Chisolm location and more details will be released soon.  A separate fee will apply for this care.

Space is limited at each location so we encourage families to register as soon as they are able by emailing childrensprograms@mjymca.ca or calling 306-630-9407 or 306-692-0688 ext. 1 to speak to our Director of School Age Services.


YMCA Summer Day Camps

We are pleased to announce that we are opening spaces in our Summer Day Camp to the public – effective Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10:00am.

We are excited to be returning to Wakamow Valley again this year.

Summer camp will be offered for 8 weeks from July 2, 2019 to August 23, 2019 and we will still be offering weekly and monthly (4 week) rates for registration.

Please pick up your registration package from the Fairford YMCA Membership Representatives. Summer camp spaces will be limited and on a first come first serve basis, so it is recommended that you act quickly. Once you have completed the registration package in full, you will need to drop if off at our Fairford location (220 Fairford St E). Please ensure that when you drop it off at the front desk, the Membership Representative working that day puts a received date stamp and writes the time on the front of your summer camp package. This stamp is required to manage registrations and wait-lists.

Payment is due upon registration. We accept cash, credit & debit.

Fees this year are as followed:

Monthly (4 weeks total): Member - $495.00 / Non-member - $535.00

Weekly: Member - $155.00 / Non-member - $180.00
